PHOENIX - Police shot and killed a man while serving a search warrant Thursday morning in a Phoenix neighborhood.
A SWAT team of the Surprise Police Department arrived at a house near 26th Street and McDowell Road to serve a search warrant for a reason not yet disclosed, police told ABC15 on scene.
When officers made their entrance, multiple suspects shot at them, police said.
That's when the SWAT team shot back, and one of the suspects was killed.
Neighbors described the incident to ABC15 as something "straight out of a war movie."
No officers were hurt in the incident.
Dozens of officers from the Surprise, Phoenix, and Glendale police departments were seen surrounding the home around 8 a.m.
