PHOENIX - Surveillance video was released in the case of alleged serial stowaway Marilyn Hartman. Hartman, 62, was arrested at Sky Harbor Airport on August 26, 2014, after a series of run-ins at different airports.
In the video, you can see Hartman wandering around the baggage claim area with her luggage until she is approached by police.
Phoenix police gave Hartman a warning for trespassing at the airport six days earlier. When she got off a flight at Sky Harbor on August 20, officials were already watching her to see if she would try to get on another flight without a ticket, according to the police report.
When she made no move to leave the airport, an officer told Hartman she was trespassing and she couldn't come back without a ticket, or she would be arrested.
Then, on August 26, a TSA agent recognized Hartman from her photo on a flyer, the report said. Phoenix Police ran her name and found the warning from the week before about trespassing.
So, officers approached her and Hartman admitted that she had trespassed at the airport. Hartman was arrested shortly afterward , the police report said.
Earlier in August, Hartman received probation after flying to Los Angeles without a ticket, according to the Associated Press.
Now, she's been booked for criminal trespassing.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said she went through an initial health screening, and police requested that she receive a mental health evaluation.
