Strip mall catches fire in Phoenix, minor damage reported

PHOENIX - Officials are investigating after a fire broke out at a Phoenix strip mall early Tuesday morning.

According to Phoenix fire, the blaze broke out at 2:00 a.m. near 19th Avenue and Camelback Road.

When officials arrived on the scene they found smoke coming from the roof of the stip mall.

Firefighters were able to isolate the fire. Minor damage was reported, some businesses will be closed until the power is turned back and repairs are made.

No injuries were reported.
