You can be a “Hero for Hope” without leaving the comfort of your own home when you donate to the ABC15 Telethon benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Your money will be used to spread healing to kids who desperately need it.

You might even help a child like Jordin.

Today, she’s a four-year-old, princess-loving, bundle of energy.

That was not always the case.

Jordin was diagnosed with a heart valve problem when she was just three months old.

Her mother Esther remembers those terrifying times, “There was a night or two where doctors told me it would be a miracle if she made it through the night.”

There were seizures and strokes. Little Jordin needed a heart transplant.

Five weeks after being placed on the transplant list, Esther’s prayers were answered.

To look at her today, it is hard to believe Jordin went through so much. But, she has the scars to prove it.  Her mom has the memories of sleepless nights, nights she says that were made just a little easier by the staff at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

If you would like to make a difference, be sure to tune in and donate to the ABC15 Telethon benefiting Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, April 12 or donate right here on abc15.com.
