PHOENIX - Traveling out of Sky Harbor soon? Southwest Airlines announced on Thursday morning that mobile boarding passes have arrived in Phoenix.
Customers can now show their electronic boarding pass at TSA checkpoints and also to board their plane at the gate.
Passengers are able to show their boarding pass via email or text message.
Southwest Airlines is planning to have mobile boarding passes available at all airports in the near future. In addition to Phoenix, the mobile boarding pass is now available at Baltimore/Washington, Chicago (Midway), Denver and Orlando.
Southwest Airlines started mobile boarding passes in Austin, Houston and Dallas in November.
