Silent Witness: CVS employee held at knifepoint during robbery; suspects took diabetic test strips

Police are looking for two armed men responsible for robbing a Phoenix CVS store of diabetic test strips.

According to Silent Witness, the robbery occurred near 35th and Glendale avenues on April 18 just before 10 p.m.

The suspects entered the pharmacy and one jumped the counter with a knife before putting boxes of diabetic strips into a garbage bag. 

The second suspect was waiting at the front door and when an employee attempted to lock the door, they pulled a knife and held it to the employee's neck.

Both suspects were able to flee in a vehicle with the merchandise. No injuries were reported. 

The suspects are described as two Hispanic men in their mid to late twenties. One suspect is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 160 pounds. The second suspect is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 225 pounds.
