Phoenix Police have released more information about a deadly shooting on Saturday, a woman who disappeared from the scene and a possible suspect.

Police say Richard Paz Garcia is suspected of shooting and killing a man at an apartment complex near 12th Street and Indian School. The victim is believed to be the new boyfriend of Veronica Huerta, who remains unaccounted for after the incident.

Police have yet to confirm the identity of the man who was shot and killed, but say he is about 20 years old.

Huerta and her 1-year-old son are thought to have left the shooting scene with the suspect. The child has since been safely located.

Paz Garcia may be driving a white, 2004 Dodge Stratus with Arizona plates "BDB7973".

At this point, police say Paz Garcia is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if seen. If you do have any information on his or Huerta's whereabouts, you are urged to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Callers may remain anonymous.
