Roscoes on 7th, a gay sports bar in central Phoenix, will close.
The bar announced the closure on its website and Facebook page on Wednesday; it's last day of operation.
"I am saddened to announce that Roscoes on Seventh will be closing its doors at the end of the day today, July 26th," the post said. "Roscoes has been a proud part of the community for the past 20+ years. Please be looking for any new announcements in the near future as to plans for the bar."
Roscoes is located near 7th Street and Minnezona Avenue.
No other details were immediately available. An employee who picked up the phone Wednesday night said it was too busy to answer any questions.
The Valley has seen a recent closure in high-profile restaurants off 7th Street including Ticoz Latin Kitchen, Barrio Urbano at The Yard, and The Herb Box at The Colony.
