On Sunday, hundreds gathered for a town hall at Steele Indian School Park. Mayor Greg Stanton and Phoenix Police Chief Daniel Garcia were just some of the panelists on hand.

Organizers wanted it to be a peaceful and respectful conversation on race relations in Arizona.

Chief Garcia says all of his officers will be taking a course on mental health awareness in the coming weeks.
