PHOENIX - A power surge at Sky Harbor Airport forced many travelers to either postpone or cancel their trips Sunday morning.
A Sky Harbor spokesperson said the surge shut down the computers at the American Airlines ticket counter.
Passengers say American Airlines employees were forced to write down passenger ticket information by hand.
Some travelers spent more than four hours in line waiting for a ticket.
It is unclear what caused the power surge.
American Airlines said they were working to get passengers on different flights.
