Police seek public's help finding information related to homicide victim in Phoenix

PHOENIX - Police are asking for the public’s help after finding a potential homicide victim in an alley near Indian School Road and 27th Avenue Wednesday, officials said.

Joshua C. Calkins, 35, is identified as the victim. His death is being investigated as a homicide due to signs of trauma, Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department said.

His body was found wrapped in a blanket in the alley, Crump said.

A person who lived in the area near the alley noticed the body, according to Crump.
