Police: Man sought in robbery of Phoenix bank

PHOENIX - Authorities are looking for a man after he robbed a bank Monday in Phoenix.

Officer James Holmes said the suspect walked into Chase Bank around 2 p.m. near 35th and Northern avenues and gave the teller a threatening note.

The suspect, described as a male, 20-30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and between 200-230 pounds, was given some cash and then fled on foot.

Police said the suspect has dark skin, a muscular build and was wearing a light-colored long sleeve shirt. No one was injured in the robbery, according to police.
