PHOENIX - Phoenix Police identified the victim of a west Phoenix accident that killed one and injured two Monday night.
23-year-old Shanteesha Sharp was killed when the Nissan Sentra she was a passenger in collided with a Chevrolet Suburban on 111th Ave and Camelback Road , police said.
The driver of the SUV was traveling westbound on Camelback Road attempting to turn left onto southbound 111th Ave when it collided with the eastbound Sentra causing it to crash into a traffic pole, police said.
Sharp sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing her seatbelt, police said.
The drivers of the two vehicles suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
