Police are continuing to investigate a decade old unsolved murder in Phoenix.

In 2006, Jermaine Johnson and his two friends were walking in the area of McDowell Road and 40th Street when they were approached by another group of people. Johnson was shot and killed, a police spokesperson said.

Just days before the deadly incident, Johnson had been involved in an argument with the same group of people. According to officials, shots were also fired during that confrontation.

Police are continuing their manhunt for two suspects involved in the shooting.

One man is described as being a black male, in his early 20s, 155 pounds with short hair. It’s possible that his name is Xavier.

The second suspect is described as being a black male, in his early 20s, 5’9” and 155 pounds. It’s possible that his nickname is “Manic.”
