Police: 2 men found dead in Phoenix home got into disagreement, shot each other

PHOENIX - Phoenix police said two men found dead in a home Tuesday night shot each other after arguing over the transaction of an illegal activity.

Sgt. Trent Crump, spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department, said both men were in their 20s and were found in a vacant home near 7th Street and Dobbins.

Family members called police around 8:40 p.m. after not hearing from the victims. Police found the deceased individuals while conducting a welfare check at the home, said Crump.

Police said it received an anonymous call about a shooting in the area around 1 p.m., however, were unable to locate any scene.

No other details were released.
