Phoenix police serve search warrant at MMJ marijuana club

PHOENIX - Phoenix police are investigating a Phoenix medical marijuana club for allegedly selling illegal drugs.

The "MMJ Caregivers Educating" business located at 32nd Street and Bell Road was roped off Wednesday night while police interviewed employees and collected evidence.

Police spokesman Trent Crump said a search warrant was issued on the business for possession of marijuana for sale and operating as a dispensary.

Crump said it is unclear if anyone will be charged at this time.

Officers said they have received complaints about this business from the surrounding community.
