Phoenix police asking for public's help identifying bank robbery suspect

PHOENIX - Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a bank robbery suspect who hit three separate banks in Phoenix.

Phoenix Police Officer James Holmes said on Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. the man attempted to rob a Bank of America near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

About a half an hour later he tried to rob a Wells Fargo Bank near Camelback and Dysart roads.

Then, around 5:15 p.m., Holmes said he robbed a US Bank near 35th Avenue and Bell Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, with a thin build, 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches, in his mid to late 20's.

He was wearing a gray long sleeve pullover, a black or blue baseball hat and a black and red Chicago Bulls hat, according to Holmes.
