Police are asking for help identifying a woman whose remains were found about a month ago.

Officers say an unknown woman's body was found outside a store near 24th Avenue and Buckeye Road on June 28. Investigators said her fingerprints brought up photos from previous bookings, but in each case she refused to provide her real name.

The woman is believed to be between 30 and 60 years old, with hazel eyes and gray hair. She was 5'5" and 132 pounds, and has a scar on her abdomen.

Anyone who recognizes the woman is asked to call the Phoenix Police Missing Persons Unit at (602) 534-2121 or the Maricopa County Medical Examiner at (602) 506-1138.
