A Phoenix man who shot and wounded his brother after being fired for stealing money from the family's business has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 62-year-old Issa Said Saleh also was sentenced Monday to three years of supervised probation.
Saleh originally was charged with attempted first-degree murder in the October 2015 shooting.
He was sentenced on two counts of aggravated assault.
Prosecutors say Saleh shot his younger brother four times at the Shark's Market convenience store.
They say the victim suffered gunshot wounds to both shoulders, but the injuries weren't life-threatening.
After the shooting, Saleh reportedly took a phone from a witness and called 911 to report the incident. He walked outside and sat down to wait for police to arrive and arrest him.
