Light rail riders can take the train even farther north in Phoenix starting this weekend.
The latest extension of the Valley Metro rail extends from 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road to 19th and Dunlap avenues.
The three additional stops will be opening on Saturday, March 19.

In August 2015, the southeastern part of the light rail system expanded east for four more stations from the area of Main Street and Dobson Road in Mesa to Main Street and Mesa Drive.
