PHOENIX - Phoenix firefighters battled another fire at a recycling business on Monday.
The site of the Monday morning fire was near 29th Avenue and Lincoln Street west of downtown.
Fire Capt. Ruben Saavedra said firefighters attacked the fire involving piles of debris. Crews were able to prevent the fire from advancing further.
Firefighters treated one employee of the scrap yard. The employee said he experienced an electrical shock after a power line came down on the scrap pile he was working on.
ABC15 cameras captured the fire while on scene at a police situation near 26th Avenue and McDowell Road.
That fire involved recycled paper over an area estimated to be the size of a couple of football fields.
