Phoenix Fire: 3 seriously hurt in Phoenix morning crash

PHOENIX - Three people have been taken to a local trauma center in serious condition, according to Phoenix fire.

Captain Benjamin Santillan with Phoenix Fire said two woman and one male, ages 41, 46, 31, respectfully, were transported in serious condition Wednesday after being involved in a collision near 7th Avenue and Thomas Road.

One person had to be extracted, he said.

Sgt. James Holmes of Phoenix police said those injures are expected to be OK.

Air15 video showed two vehicles, one red and one white, with severe front-end damage. One of the vehicles also had damage to the driver's side door.

The crash remains under investigation.
