Phoenix couple claims $3.3 million lottery jackpot

PHOENIX - A Phoenix couple has claimed a $3.3 million Arizona Lottery jackpot.

Robert Brito says he and his wife Anna waited two weeks to come forward because they wanted to get their finances in order and prepare to responsibly handle their windfall.

He says the couple has invested the winnings and it will go to a trust fund for their whole family.

Robert Brito also says he also intends to keep working.

The winning ticket for The Pick jackpot for the April 26 drawing was sold at a Glendale convenience store.

When he heard the winning numbers, Robert Brito says he asked his daughter to look over the ticket and make sure it was the winner. When they knew it was real, they called Anna Brito and told her the news.
