PHOENIX - As the temperatures heat up, all 29 City of Phoenix pools will be open for the Memorial Day weekend.
According to a city news release, the pools will be open May 24 – May 26 then open for full summer operating hours beginning May 31. The 2014 season runs through July 27.
Regular hours will be 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. six days a week; all pools will be closed on Fridays.

Even though many popular swim classes are full, there is still some space in some swim classes and in recreational swim and dive team programs, according to the press release.
Group swim lessons cost $15 for an eight-session class and semi-private swim classes offered at four city pools cost $40.
Daily admission to Phoenix city pools is $3 for adults and $1 for seniors age 50 and over and youth age 17 and younger.
A season pass for a family of four is $75.
The Kool Kids Program returns this year, bringing free admission to all youths age 17 and under at select city pools. Kool Kids is made possible by through financial support from the Oakland A’s, Milwaukee Brewers, Salt River Project, Watermill Express, Subway and Pepsi.
