PHOENIX - Police said a 34-year-old man was shot to death in Phoenix Saturday night.
Phoenix police spokesman Trent Crump said the shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. near 27th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
When officers arrived to the scene, they found the man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Crump said the victim was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Officials said there was a party where the man was shot and the shooter took off before police arrived.
Police are still trying to identify the suspect and are not releasing any information at this time.
The victim's identity has not been released yet.
