PHOENIX - Authorities are searching for the driver responsible for a deadly hit-and-run crash Wednesday night in Phoenix.
The collision happened around 9:00 p.m near 24th and Van Buren streets.
According to Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos, a 50-year-old man was walking south on Van Buren when a SUV struck him and took off.
He was walking against the traffic signal in the crosswalk when he was hit, Martos said.
Officers are still looking for the runaway driver, who has only been described as a white male with a beard in a blue SUV, possibly a Toyota Sequoia.
