PHOENIX - Police say a pedestrian has died in a hit-and-run collision early Tuesday morning in Phoenix.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. when the man was crossing Indian School Road mid-block just east of 38th Avenue, according to Phoenix police Officer James Holmes.
The 28-year-old man was struck by a white, older model, full size van, Holmes said. The van did not stop at the scene.
When Phoenix fire crews arrived, the pedestrian was pronounced dead, according to Holmes.
