Authorities are investigating after a man died after being shot multiple times Saturday in Phoenix.
Officers responded to an apartment complex near 28th Street and Broadway around 10 p.m. Friday where they found a man in a breezeway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Tommy Thompson, spokesman for Phoenix Police Department.
Thompson said 34-year-old Jerome Armstead was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Authorities said that they do not have any suspects in the case, however, a male was seen running away from the area and got into a gray or silver Chrysler 300. The vehicle also had stock rims and no window tint.
Thompson said it is unknown if this individual or vehicle was involved in the shooting.
