PD: Clerk assaulted during Phoenix beer run

PHOENIX - Silent Witness is offering a reward for information about suspects in a beer run that turned violent.

Phoenix police said the armed robbery occurred on November 4 just after midnight at a Circle K at 15th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Police said a male and female suspect went into the store and over to the beer cooler where the male took two cases of beer and walked toward the front door where the employee was standing.

The female was the first one out the door and she pushed the employee out of the way as the employee told them they had to pay for the beer.

The female kept pushing the employee aside as the male suspect walked outside with the beer.

The male suspect then started fighting with the employee by kicking and punching him.

Both suspects fled with the beer.

Police described the male suspect as between 17 and 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds with a mustache.

The female was described as between 17 and 20 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair.

Anyone with information about the suspects or robbery is urged to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS to remain anonymous. The reward being offered is for up to $1,000.
