PHOENIX - Police say they arrested a 46-year-old man Thursday afternoon for having child pornography in his Phoenix home.
Detectives from the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant around noon at the home of Christopher Ray Jurgens, according to Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson.
He lived in a home near a school bus stop in the area of Van Buren and 32nd streets, Thompson said.
Numerous items of child pornography were reportedly found in the home, and Jurgens was then arrested.
Thompson said detectives also found candy and drinks made for children, as well as children's clothing, toys, and coloring books, but no children live in the home.
Jurgens was booked into the Maricopa County Jail and charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Thompson said anyone who has information regarding these crimes is encouraged to call Internet Crimes Against Children at 623-466-1828 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
