Police say a dead body was found in the yard of a Phoenix home on Sunday night.
Officers were called to the home in reference to a possible dead body on the property near 39th and Southern avenues. When they arrived, they found the body of an adult female.
A neighbor says a 60-year-old man lives in the house where the body was found and that his adult son moved in about a month ago.
He said there has never been a problem there until the son arrived and thinks the incident may have had something to do with the son.
Police say a medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
The identity of the body has not been released.
