PHOENIX - Authorities say five employees of a Phoenix business have been freed after being beaten and tied up by robbers.
Phoenix police say the group of robbers fled the scene after Wednesday afternoon's robbery at Skyline Wholesale Distributors.
That triggered a police pursuit. Two alleged suspects have been taken into custody and police say they are searching for a third man in the case.
Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said the employees, three men and two women, were tied up with duct tape and plastic zip locks, but suffered non-life threatening injuries.
It's not immediately clear what was taken by the robbers from the business that's located near Thomas Road and 31st Avenue in Phoenix.
