PD: 2 men wanted for 21 armed robberies at Valley pharmacies

PHOENIX - Police are searching for two men involved in 21 armed robberies at Phoenix-area pharmacies.

They happened in the last several months at in-store and stand-alone pharmacies mainly in northeast Phoenix and parts of Scottsdale, according to Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos.

The two suspects have entered stores at times wearing motorcycle helmets, landscape hats, fishing hats and baseball caps, Martos said.

They reportedly approach the pharmacy counter with a handgun and demand oxycodone from workers.

The first suspect has been described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, 5-feet-10-inches tall, and weighs about 180 pounds with slight facial hair. A sketch of this suspect is attached to the story.

The second suspect is a white male, 20 to 30 years old, and 6-feet-1 to 6-feet 3-inches tall with a muscular build.

Martos said the suspects are becoming more aggressive during the robberies.
