PD: 2 found shot in Phoenix vehicle, suspect sought

PHOENIX - Officials are investigating after two people were found shot in Phoenix early Wednesday morning.

According to officials, officers responded to a shots fired call near 16th Street and Southern Avenue around 2:30 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene they found two females and a male in a car. One female and one male were found shot. Both of their injuries are considered to be life-threatening.

A witness tells ABC15 they saw the man on the ground screaming.  He saw one woman yelling at at him to be quiet and was trying to drown out his screams by turning the radio up and down. That woman was not shot. She is not cooperating with police.

Officers reportedly found bullet casings scattered around a large area in the neighborhood.

16th Street is currently closed from Southern Avenue to Roeser Road.
