The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says 8,000 fentanyl pills were seized as part of a 5-month long drug investigation on Valley streets.
According to MCSO, detectives served several search warrants as part of the investigation and seized the pills from various locations, including a storage unit in the Maryvale area.
Octavio Gutierrez-Hernandez, 33, and Jorge Bazan, 23, were both booked into jail for possession of narcotic drugs for sale and conspiracy.

Officials say $10,000 in cash and a 9mm handgun were also seized in the investigation.
Deputies say the investigation began in early 2018 in cooperation with Phoenix police and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
