Oklahoma tornado: Food bank in Phoenix sending donations to victims

PHOENIX - St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance in Phoenix is asking for food donations to send to the tornado victims in Oklahoma.

The organization has already prepared a minimum of four tractor-trailers of bottled water, emergency food boxes, ready to eat meals and snack products requested by the rescue crews and government agencies in Oklahoma City.

Spokesman Jerry Brown said it's unclear when exactly the trucks will leave, but until then, he's asking for water and canned food donations to benefit the tornado victims.

Donations can be made to St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance locations in Phoenix and Surprise, as well as to food drive boxes located at all Goodwill locations in the Valley.

St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance locations:

2831 N. 31st Ave., Phoenix
