PHOENIX - Former Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman and color commentator Mark Grace was released Monday morning from Tent City.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said Grace, 48, ended his four-month sentence after he was charged with endangerment and DUI in August.
At the time of his arrest, Grace was reportedly driving without a required interlock device and his license had been suspended for a prior DUI in May 2011.
Grace arrived at the Lower Buckeye Jail on Feb. 10 to begin his sentence. During his stay, he was granted work release.
Last month, he and Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced that Grace will work with MCSO sponsored youth programs once his sentence is complete.
