Mark Grace, former Diamondbacks announcer, reports for jail

PHOENIX - Former Diamondbacks 1st baseman and announcer Mark Grace reported to jail Sunday morning to begin his sentence for DUI.

Grace, 48, was arrested in Scottsdale last August and charged with endangerment and DUI.

Maricopa County Jail officials said Grace arrived at the Lower Buckeye Jail around 5 a.m.

According to a plea agreement, Grace was sentenced to four months in jail beginning Sunday. He will be granted work release.

He will also serve two years of supervised probation.
At the time of his arrest, Grace was reportedly driving without a required interlock device and his license had been suspended for a prior DUI in Scottsdale in May 2011.

Grace was fired from his position as a Diamondbacks TV analyst.

He spoke with ABC15's Paul Calvisi about the firing and the charges against him.

Grace has since been hired as a minor league coach and instructor with the Diamondbacks.
