A Valley teen involved in a hit-and-run while out on his motorcycle has been reunited with his ride.

Thursday, Preston Sandoval picked up his motorcycle at Two Guyes Garage, in Gilbert. The shop offered to fix his bike free of charge after seeing what happened.

The 16-year-old Sandoval, who lives with autism, was hit from behind by a pickup truck early last month near Camelback Road and Interstate 17.

He suffered minor injuries in the collision, and his helmet camera was rolling the entire time.

The driver of the truck stopped and a passenger got out, but they drove away after Sandoval had walked his bike to a safe area of the road.
