A man has been taken to the hospital after being shot in Phoenix on Wednesday morning.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the victim was driving southbound on Interstate 17 when a known suspect shot at his vehicle.
Police say the victim was struck in the leg and suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect fled the area and has not been located at this time, police said.
