Police are investigating a sexual abuse case near Arizona State University’s downtown Phoenix campus.

On April 8, an 18-year-old woman was walking in the area of Washington and Seventh streets around 9:15 p.m. when a strange man began to follow her, Phoenix police said. The man attempted to get the victim's attention before sexually abusing her while she walked between two apartment buildings.

The man fled the area after the attack and has not been located.

On Wednesday, police released a composite sketch of the suspect.

He’s described as being a Caucasian man in his twenties, 6 feet tall with an average build, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a Nike hoodie and had a “strong body odor,” police said.
