It appears the sun is setting on a pair of 'Late Night Bandits' who police think are responsible for dozens of robberies around the Phoenix metro area over the last couple months.

In video of one of the incidents, a robber rifled through a store clerk’s wallet before leaving the store.

“I’m broke,” the clerk told crook, who didn’t find any cash in the wallet.

Officials say they have found one of their suspects. Authorities arrested 25-year-old Anthony Hamilton after he allegedly committed an armed robbery at a Chevron station in Phoenix on Tuesday.

Hamilton has been charged in federal court for seven robberies in Tempe and Phoenix, but his partner in crime is still on the loose.

Dozens of other robberies have occurred at convenience stores and gas stations between Dec. 20, 2015 and Feb. 9, 2016, from Queen Creek to Sun City, according to the FBI.

The FBI and Phoenix Police are looking for the second suspect, who they say is a black man between 20 and 30 years old. He is between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet tall with a slim build.

Identifying the second suspect has proven difficult.

“[The robbers] wore ski masks, bandanas” over their faces, according to James Bracke, a Phoenix Police sergeant who is a member of the FBI bank robbery task force.

More than a dozen law enforcement agencies have been involved in the investigation.
