Jodi Arias trial: Fans sending accused murderer online messages of love and support

PHOENIX - Fans of Jodi Arias are leaving her messages of support on the website jodiariasisinnocent.com.

Jodi Arias , 32, faces the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder in the June 2008 killing of Travis Alexander in his Phoenix home

The site is run by an anonymous blogger, SJ, a member of "Team Jodi."

"80% of messages posted are from Jodi supporters," SJ said in an email to ABC15. "10% are from people ‘on the fence'… and the remaining 10% are hate messages, death threats and people wishing we'd get cancer, aids and/or leukemia."

The website is a trove of information about the trial, including court documents and video from the day's court proceedings.

"Keep up the great work on the stand," one user writes as a message to Arias.

"I believe in you Jodi and you are in my prayers," writes another.

ABC15 skyped on Tuesday night with another user from Lincoln, Nebraska who said she watches the trial everyday.

"I feel like Jodi doesn't have any support," she said. "My heart just went out to her."

Arias admits to killing her lover, Alexander, but claims it was self-defense.

She has spent seven days on the stand so far testifying in her defense.
