PHOENIX - The Jodi Arias trial in Phoenix resumed Thursday afternoon after everyone was reportedly asked to leave the courtroom.
The judge asked everyone to leave around 2 p.m. after the attorneys returned from her chambers.
The trial resumed around 3:50 p.m.
Maricopa County Superior Court spokesman Vincent Funari said it was due to a discussion over new evidence in the case.
The Arias trial is for the 2008 murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in Mesa.
