PHOENIX - A former Paradise Valley High School teacher accused of having sex with a female student last year has pleaded guilty in the case.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 26-year-old Jordan Doneskey pleaded guilty Tuesday to three counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
He's scheduled to be sentenced on April 25.
Doneskey was arrested last August along with the mother of the then 17-year-old student, who was accused of child abuse and failure to report.
Police believe the mother was aware of the relationship and allowed the alleged sexual conduct to take place at her house.
They say the teen was a willing participant in the relationship with Doneskey that allegedly began in early April.
Doneskey taught English at Paradise Valley High and had been at the school since 2009.
