PHOENIX - A man was rushed to a local hospital after experiencing a medical issue while hiking a mountain Thursday night in Phoenix, according to fire officials.
Phoenix Fire Public Information Officer Tony Benites said a bystander called authorities around 6:35 p.m. about a man experiencing a medical issue.
Benites said the man was located on top of the mountain near Mountain View Road and Central Avenue. The man did not have a pulse and was not breathing when paramedics arrived, he said.
Crews performed CPR and transported the man to John C Lincoln hospital. His condition is not known.
No other details were released.
