A hiker had to be rescued at Echo Canyon on Monday morning.
Phoenix fire said a 42-year-old woman fell and possibly fractured her arm. She attempted to walk down with the help of fire crews but was not feeling well enough to continue down the mountain.
Rescue crews used a helicopter to get her off the mountain. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.
