PHOENIX - Authorities said no one was injured after an SUV plowed into a Phoenix apartment complex Friday afternoon.
The incident happened around 3 p.m.at the North Mountain apartments near 7th Street and Mountain View Road.
Phoenix police said a woman driving an SUV northbound on 7th Street was attempting to turn left on Cinnabar Avenue when she was T-boned by another car going westbound.
The SUV took out a balcony support post and damaged the external staircase leading to two apartments, according to Phoenix fire.
Jessie Moralas was on a walk and saw it all happen.
He ran to help the driver of the SUV who he says was visibly shaken.
"A lot of smoke started coming from the car so I pulled her out just in case it started burning or something," he said.
Air15 video showed several police and fire crews assisting residents outside the complex.
Authorities said four people were evaluated by paramedics, but none were transported to the hospital. The apartment manager and Phoenix fire crews are assisting after the occupants of four units have been displaced.
Phoenix engineers are evaluating the structural stability of the apartment building.
