PHOENIX - Authorities say a bystander performed CPR on a bicyclist found down on a Phoenix trail early Sunday afternoon.
Phoenix fire Capt. Jonathan Jacobs said the man in his 40s was riding along a bike trail near Northern Avenue in Dreamy Draw Park where he was discovered by a passerby.
That person began CPR and when fire crews responded they got a pulse back on the victim.
He is now in the hospital and Jacobs said a medical condition is suspected of causing the man to collapse.
Jacobs said the man had a weak pulse as he was transported to the hospital.
There have been no further updates on his condition.
