PHOENIX - An accident on Interstate 10 in Phoenix has sent four people to the hospital.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, three of the injured patients are children. One patient declined to be transported to the hospital.
The accident happened Wednesday evening on the westbound I-10 on-ramp at 59th Avenue.
Authorities say some of the victims were ejected during the crash.
The Department of Public Safety said two vehicles were involved.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the two right lanes are blocked and drivers should expect delays.
Air15 video showed a lengthy traffic backup from 59th Avenue.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the accident.
